Biography

Our history:

Drastyca is a Melodic Death Metal band from the city of Cruz das Almas, Bahia - Brazil. Created in 2010 by vocalist “Clay Cazaes” and supported by bass player “Rodrigo Alves”, a band of his first steps, however, due to some daily problems, a band had a hiatus that lasted until the end of the year 2015. This year, the guitarists “Tiago Marques” and “Wederson Oliveira” - who were already part of the band before the hiatus - along with “Clay Cazaes” reactivated a band, beginning the process of composing and recording their first EP entitled "Emblems". Drastyca has as main influences as band: Death, Arch Enemy, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir and Bathory. Such influences culminated in a sound that promoted brutality and technique with an emphasis on striking and heavy melodies. In addition to the aforementioned members, Drastyca currently also counts on the presence of "Luiz Felipe" on the double bass and "Marth" on drums. Our EP was recorded between the years of 2016 and 2018, with a lot of effort, rigor, dedication and mainly with much love to the extreme Metal.

The country does not have easy access to high performance recording equipment and tools, which makes it very difficult to create and maintain a band, but do not give up! Having a quality equipment and equipment, we donate 100% to what EP can sound with the best quality possible.
